With Firelock modular vaults we install on site and custom fit to your specifications and needs.  Whether you need 80 sq. feet or 800 sq. feet, or larger, these vaults are completely scalable to fit your home or designated storage area.  Technically speaking, these vaults are UL tested demonstrating complete fire protection from the outside.  Additionally these vaults are structurally engineered for seismic zone 4 and exceed California earthquake protection requirements by 300%.  Internal clean agent gas fire suppression can be added to guarantee the safe extinguishing of any internal fire before it reaches your stored valuables, and without water damage.  Combine this with Emerson Power climate conditioning which allows you to set the vault environmental requirements to the exact temperature and humidity you require.  Finally, with the numerous entry access protocols available today you will be able to maintain 24/7 surveillance from anywhere.

Fire tested by Omega Point Laboratories up to a class 125-4 hour, which translates to: a 1,800 degree fire can burn outside the vault for four hours and the temperature will not exceed 125 degrees inside.  This class rating is triple the industry standard for temperature allowed.  The vault was actually fire-tested at 1,800 for 12 hours and did not exceed the interior temperature threshold of 125 degrees, but there is no 12-hour rating available, so the “official” rating remains at 4-hours.

This unique structural steel design exceeds the seismic zone 4 criteria by 300%.  The steel panels are 24” wide and 8-16’ high so you can customize the size and design of each room.

Firelock’s unique spun ceramic insulation, designed by NASA for the space shuttle program, combined with the steel panel walls pass water stream tests after being fire-tested which make them virtually water proof.

The Firelock vault comes equipped with a 7” thick steel bank vault style door with an electronic tumbler style lock.  This can be combined with any type of electronic entry access and monitoring systems such as card reader, thumb scanned, palm scanner, eye retina scanner, etc.

Geode Inc. works with architects and interior designers to finish this room like any other room in the house.  The modular construction of the vault is scalable and can be enlarged or changed in configuration at any time. This flexibility allows your secure room to aesthetically blend with the rest of your home.

Whether you are storing fine art or rare wines the Liebert/Emerson Power climate conditioning systems allow you to set and control the desired environment inside your vault.  Not only can you control temperature but a climate conditioning system allows you to control humidity as well.

Because each vault is completely self contained and air tight the climate conditioning systems control all air flow isolated to the vault room, and the inside air clean and dust free at all times.  This leaves the inside a comfortable and safe environment for your valuables for an unlimited time, and for human occupancy according to the internal air-volume.  As an example; A 14’ x 16’ x 8’ room was estimated to contain adequate oxygen volume to sustain one human for up to one week, without the introduction of additional oxygen supply.  Of course longer periods of occupancy could be provided with internal oxygen storage bottles and monitoring.

In the highly unlikely possibility of an internal fire, from electrical short or a stored item becoming combustible, cigarette ash, etc, there are waterless and non-chemical clean agent fire suppression systems available.  Installing a clean agent fire suppression system will close the loop of fire protection.

The Seimens Waterless Fire Extinguishing Systems along with an early detection system is the most complete and powerful solution to this risk.  By using Duponts FE-227 clean agent gas at the earliest detection of smoke or heat the Sinorix extinguishing system will release the harmless gas which in turn will suffocate the heat/fire at the source. This gas is completely safe and harmless to humans, animals, and your valuables.  The very-early warning system can be integrated into most conventional alarm and notification systems, and combined with other systems such as emergency power supply, climate conditioning, etc.

As stated earlier in Section 1, the Firelock modular vault comes with a 7” thick bank style vault door with a combination tumbler.  However you may upgrade your vault with a variety of state of the art entry access devices available.  Geode Inc. can install card readers and/or biometric devices such as fingerprint or retina scanner/readers to insure the highest level of security.

We also offer digital surveillance inside or out of the vault.  Add this to our remote monitoring package and you will be able to monitor the status of all critical systems and who comes and goes from your vault at anytime and from anywhere.  You can also be contacted immediately via a pager, phone, cell phone, or computer of any intrusion.

Additionally we offer Emergency Repair and Preventative Maintenance service packages for all installed critical systems, to maintain your hardened-vault security systems and maintain the highest level of available protection to your valuables indefinitely.  Further, by being regularly in-touch with your vault systems, Geode Inc. can notify you when changes, modifications, upgrades, etc, become available and advisable for your vault.
